Hello my name is Nour-gihan and I am from Libya. Currently living in Emirates. I am a comic artist, I like to draw in manga style. I used to work as a comic artist for a Libyan magazine aimed for childern aged between 8-15 years. I left the magazine after some disagreements about censoring my comics.
My fave manga are MERMAID MELODY, SAILOR MOON, SAINT SEIYA, DETECTIVE CONAN, MIRMO DE PON, CYBER IDOL MINK.
My fave anime are SAINT SEIYA, SAILOR MOON, SAINT TAIL, TOKYO MEW MEW, MAGICAL EMI.
My fave artists are YU HIGURI, MEGUMI TACHIKAWA, PINK HANAMORI, NAOKO TAKEUCHI, ARINA TANEMURA.

Welcome yarriz, I'm no expert on manga/anime, in fact I'm no expert on anything much, but I do know there are plenty of manga/anime fans here and even places to discuss the merits of manga/anime with other manga/anime lovers such as Custard Trout.
Simply dive in to the Duck pond and join in with our little ecosystem: just remember that we love our comics here so get drawing and don't spend all your time yappin' about mange/anime with that manga/ anime loving Custard Trout.

Welcome to the Drunk Duck Nour-gihan! I would not take Scarf's advice and talk to Custard Trout… Look up a book called Satan's Amazon, the creator of that also does work for a few Anime magazines and she is a very nice person! I can't wait to see your work, I quite enjoy manga :)

Drunk Duck comics are probably 40% anime/manga so I don't think you will have to search hard for people who share your interests.

There are also a lot of good non-manga stuff… check out mushroom's (50+ pages!) or Ozone's work or Harkovast (epic)… all excellent comics.
