I don't know how my comments muted is a negative one. It used to be a negative two, but some kid muted one of my comments calling him on some plagerizing that he did. Ugh, that still pisses me off.


And I've never done a five dump, I always say something.

It's not the fact that I have a muted comment, it's the fact that I called him on plagerism, and instead of taking it like a man and admitting to it, he reported my comment, and then when it didn't go through, he muted me. And then left the ripped off work up.

I mean, if you see a piece of artwork, and take some sort of idea from it, and want to elaborate that idea, that's fantastic. Go for it. But, I hate people who steal others ideas directly. How can you even be proud enough to put that up on display?

I don't mean to start a war here, but I just have to say that there is no way to prove a genre of art style is good or bad or whatever at all. All I'm trying to say is art is art is art is art is art and people have their own opinions, just because one person thinks one thing doesn't mean that because they state said opinion everyone else will subsiquently follow.

It's a form of self-expression no matter how much time is spent on it or what form it's in.

and no that's not a comment on sprites or cgi or real media or anything else. just saying it's just art.

Maybe 20 of mine have not had a comment on it. I only do that when I KNOW a comic is quality, and I'm really lazy personally.

Lately most of mine haven't even had a number by it. Just a comment on the comic.

I'd say 10% of the time I have nothing to say

and another 10%-15% I just do a brief acknowledgement along the lines of
yes, I enjoyed that
or
I found that to be cool


But lately I've been trying to make my comments sound deeper :)

I pretty much never vote. I just comment.

The only time I vote is either on a comic posted in my review thread, or when I run across a random comic to apply one of my few non-review votes. This is usually coupled with a mini-review of sorts I guess. I always justify my scoring.

I've not given a five yet.

I truly admire that. As much as I enjoy looking for reasons to give high scores, it's always much more valuable when someone like you gives an honest appraisal of what needs to be worked on.
