The new version is working a lot better. Working it as a story with comedy rather than a gag strip with a story is paying off.

In CROSSOVERKILL, we goofed and put up a page a day early–so happy Memorial Day as Jenny Everywhere and Ringo explain about the Doppelganger Gang to our crew! That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/index.php?p=819329 with art by Xmung of MAGELLAN! —Al

MAG-ISA: Oh wow! The logo looks new to me, but it looks amazing. And the text you used for the Chapter name really fits the style of the comic (at least based upon this page). The texture you used for the character in the foreground really looks great too, especially in contrast to the bright, creepy monsters behind her. Great work Kyupol!

@Ryuthehedgewolf - Woah, looks like you changed your comic's style? I remember it looking quite different. It's a unique look though! And if your lettering is hand-done, it's really neat! :D Hope everything goes well for them, I don't know about using a rocket launcher in a blimp..@_@

Malefic: High body count equals large cast even if most are just there to get killed. Sometimes high confidence equals success. More power to the guy.

Attack of the Robofemoids: Arnold gets it on with Vronska and we discover her nickname.

Lite Bites: Huh…so from what I understand, this is a review comic? Actually a very interesting idea, and the fact that it's 3D rendered makes it stand out more, because generally comics here on the ‘Duck aren’t (with the exception of Bravo, but I believe he uses figures? I can't recall at the moment). I can never stress enough how awesome and realistic your models are, and the dialogue was quite witty too. I enjoyed the woman from the past making subtle references to what ‘her’ future is. Very nice touch. Also, my comic's always up for reviewing ;D (wink wink)

@ Ryu: Shit DOES get blown up! Nice page, but it's just a little bit hard to follow with all of the thick lines, since that's kind of what grabs your attention. Next time maybe try making some of the thick black lines a little thinner, it'll add more depth to the lineart. : )

@Crossoverkill: Love the reference to Steve from Life and Death. An alcoholic death being the reason why Keith Richards is still alive really cracked me up. I'm having trouble recognizing the other deaths, though (I need to read more webcomics).

To be honest, I haven't read this comic so i can't completely judge the page, but it seems to be pretty interesting & I will certainly checking out. but just to let you know the navigation buttons don't seem to appear on the latest page.

Edit: Seems to work now & I can navigate through the previous pages.

@Beast Legion - panel in the bottom looks like his heart was ripped out… looks fatal. But then again, he could still be alive in the next few pages making a dramatic monologue about dying. That or something narrowly missed the heart. :)

Visually that ain't up to much, but it doesn't need to be. The text Hammers the points across, which I guess is pretty realistic.

Koji: cute references to other time-leaping characters in fiction, cute page altogether!

Meanwhile, at CROSSOVERKILL, things are anything BUT cute, as the Big Bad behind the Doppelganger Gang makes his appearance—sort of. With beautiful art by the RedDeath of BAD GUY HIGH. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/index.php?p=820077.—Al

Hero Factor–The premise of the comic is cool (of course, I'm a bit partial to superhero-type stories). I really like the cartoony style, and–jeez–look at the crowd in the background! I see you reuse the background crowd image (as would I if I drew that many people), but that's a ton of people and a lot of activity going on. Very nicely done.

In Fusion, the current story bit returns things to the plotline that kicked off this issue. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Essay_Bee_Comics_Presents_Fusion/?p=821262

@Fusion: Don't get in the elevator! I just know our villain has some sort of nasty surprise in store for our heroes. Also, I'm really loving X-Pletive's character, both his costume and his dialogue.

@ All Saints: Whoa, dude, that art is VERY nightmare-y. There's a thunderstorm going on outside right now and I feel like if I turn around I'll see that guy standing outside my window when the lightening flashes. D: Very disturbing looking and seems to fit very well with the atmosphere I get from that wall of text.

Lite Bites: you're doing a comic with El Cid? Nicely done, looks great!

Hero Factor: Can't Touch that! (Sorry, what do you expect when you have a strip devoted to Hammer Time?)

In CROSSOVERKILL, we reach the end of the current chapter, with wonderful art by BAD GUY HIGH's Red Death, as the final member becomes “host” for the rest. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/index.php?p=821312. —Al
