I'll go first. I've been influenced by Ray Bradbury, pulp master writer Walter B. Gibson (The Shadow), Edgar Rice Burroughs, Louis L'Amour (westerns), Bernard Cornwell, Ed McBain (mysteries), and David Milch (TV's Deadwood).

In recent chapters, I'd say my biggest inspiration is Naoki Urasawa's way of introducing new characters and plotlines, but especially twists in a main mystery.

Too many to list and if I tried I know I'd forget some. Have to mention Robert Bloch, Edgar Allen Poe and Rod Serling in addition to Edgar Rice Burroughs.
I've also been heavily influenced by movies and certain directors stand out like Mario Bava and Roger Corman.

A few mayor ones for me would have to be Raymond Chandler, Thomas Ligotti, Frank Herbert, Hideo Kojima and David Cronenberg.

Isaac Asimov, Douglas Adams, and Ray Bradbury are my top favorites. I also really like Jim Butcher, Adrian Cole, Terry Brooks, and Piers Anthony.
