having a little heater makes changing clothing less of an act of bravery. still have not heard back about the interview. the ransom ware still has the two places I temp at the most shut down.. so no work.. which sucks.. so I keep filled out job applications,, in hopes that someone will think I'm a match for there opening.
I showed this comic to a coworker and she wanted to donate to your cause. I'll be sending the money along later this week. I hope things aren't going too badly for you right now. Maybe the temp agencies will recover soon so you can get back to work.
Glad you have the little heater. Is it a Mr. Buddy? Those work great. Safe to use indoors too.
I hope you get some work soon, or hear back from the places you've interviewed/applied!
Most large companies have their own mailroom to deliver outside and internal mail to the employees. It's not glamorous or high-paying, but it's steady work and doesn't require much skill. And if you do a really good job, you might get promoted to a better job. Just an idea if you want to pursue it.

In case you haven't read her other comics, she's been sick for a few days now. I wish she had someplace better than a damp truck to recuperate in. :/

You okay? It's been eight days. Your herd is calling...

Takes a lot of courage and dedication to survive while homeless. This really puts my minor day-to-day middle-class difficulties in perspective.

As always, be careful, stay warm, dry, and safe. Hopefully that job interview, whatever job it was, will come through for you. :)
