asked a random person last night to tell me it gets better that there is more to life then this… that at some point you stop hurting …that at some point you feel like your going to be ok….. tell me there is a end to the storm.. tell me someone cares.. tell me that broken people are still loveable.. just tell me it gets better …she gave me a link to a web page.. and ended the call… so I guess I find it ironic that random card tells me I am loved..
"We're born free. All of us. Free. Some don't believe it, some try to take it away. To hell with them! Water like fire, mountains of ice, the whole bit. Lay your eyes on that, and you'll know what freedom is, that it's worth fighting for! Fight to live, risk it all for even a glimmer of real freedom! It doesn't matter what's waiting outside the gate, or what comes in! It doesn't matter how cruel the world can be, or how unjust! Fight. Fight. Fight. FIGHT! FIGHT!!!"

This quote from a manga often now inspires me: "Every day since I came to this institution I've wondered; just how it came to be this way... For me and my comrades... Our minds and bodies are exhausted. Our freedom has been taken away. Even our very identities... If everyone knew they'd turn out like this... I don't think they would agree to ever set foot on the battlefield. But we all have something within that is pushing us, to take that plunge head-first into hell. For most people... That something... Is not their own will. They're forced into it by their environment or the expectations of others; it was never their own choice. But when we choose to immerse ourselves in that same hell willingly... We can see something beyond it... It might even be hope. Or in the end just a hell of another making. You'll never know. If you're not the one who's continuing to take that path... Unless you keep moving forward."
It's a sad world where the computers are doing a better job lifting people's spirits than people are. :/ I know these folks are mostly unpaid volunteers, but they should at least be trying. You have my cell phone number, please call or text if you're ever feeling bad or just want to chat.
Your talent is obvious and your pain touches me. I wish I could be there with you.
My father use to say "make hay while the sun shines" but it seems to me you really need to learn to dance in the rain. Life is full of rain and sometimes it seems like it's never gonna stop. On the other hand I've found that friendships are like campfires in the rain. You're still gonna be wet but it won't matter as much because you're warm. The more you feed the fire the better you'll feel.
Not everyone is going to be your friend. Sometimes the spark isn't there, or the wood is just too wet to burn, but if you don't keep trying you'll just be wet and cold. Just keep trying and build a fire to warm your soul
Something else I found is that moving through life is kinda like riding a bike on a road with potholes. If you stare at a pothole you'll hit it. (try it sometime, it's really true) The trick is to focus on the way around the hole, not on the hole itself. Focus on the answer, not the problem.

You don't need some random person you've never met to tell you things get better. You have us and we do care.
