A wealth of opportunity! Get interviewed, get printed, get going!

Well perhaps not a ‘wealth’ (which is a non-standardized unit of measure) but at least a handful!

Small Press Idol 2009 is underway! For the uninitiated, SPI is a contest where you can submit your comic through various stages, the public votes on them, and eventually the winners get 1 or more issues of their comic published, as well as a bit of cash and other prizes! Many Drunk Duckers have participated in SPI in the past and report good experiences- so if you are a bit competetive and want to see your comic professionally printed, give it a shot! (There are deadlines so you might want to check it out sooner rather than later!) Note there is a small entry fee, which basically goes toward the prize pool.

HEY GUYS, ANYBODY WANT TO BE INTERVIEWED?!?!?!?! Well then today is your lucky day because a few weeks ago, lucky7s76 started round 3 of Quack with the Ducks, DD's group interview circle. All signers-up both give and get one interview- promote your comic, and someone else's, and have fun too! There have been some problems in the past where rounds took a while to get through, but I'm determined that this one runs smoothly even if I have to take it over myself. SO- if you want to be interviewed, read the basic info and sign up! (Your interview gets posted in the exclusive Interviews forum and you'll get into a newspost!)

ATTENTION ALL CURRENT AND FORMER COMMUNITY PROJECT ORGANIZERS - I've changed the format of the Big Community Projects Thread so that I don't have to personally update everything any more- this way, you can publicize your OWN projects (don't have to wait for me!), update their status, and don't get signups for projects you're not running any more! I highly suggest you get over to the new version of the thread and post a reply publicizing your project!

Everyone else- Be sure to check out the rest of the Networking and Community Projects forum, because there are lots of people looking for collaborators, voice actors, drawing ideas, project participants, ideas/contributions, and commissions!
