I know, this page is cringeingly complex and probably doesn't make a lot of sense as I was panicking about time and crushed a lot of thoughts into one page.The arts pretty crap on this one one too soI think the less said about all of it the better!
Tomorrow gets more interesting though when Sarah finally realises she has more power over Nikki than she knew. :)

Tommym: Yes, She has just been led to believe she only exists in a 2D world at the end of Nikki's self-obsessed pencil, so i think she has a right to be confused and angry. Don't forget too that Sarah was angry about the whole comic thing anyway not so long ago, so it's Nikki's the insult is more aimed at.

Thanks for that Kim :) You're pretty much said what I've tried to explain on the next page. It really is just playing with ideas and idle possibilities without trying to force a whole new perspective on the main comic.

Py: I'm sure there will be if this gets any deeper which is why it's best done as a dream, because then anything which doesn't make sense can just be the result of Sarah's own muddled mind :) I think the biggest block to Nikki believing that Sarah could fall in love with her is that she doesn't have the true female body which she thinks she would need to be able to be that attractive, or believe that Sarah could be bi.

DV: I can't get my head around that one this morning but it sounds spot-on. I decided to give Nikki the female body for this one-off as it's just a dream anyway and it is Christmas :)

So...could Sarah, in theory, physically torment herself to the point of giving Nikki some really bad headaches? And should she not test that? I mean, after all, Nikki did give her bad eyesight. Her need for glasses? Nikki's doing. So could she not, just for the sake of argument, turn it around on Nikki somehow? >.> Y'know, just in theory. Like how Fight Club ends, except in reverse. ~Liz

Question, if Sarah is a fig newton of Nikki's imagination, then with the two of them having dialogue and a conversation, doesn't that make him a fig newton of his own imagination therefore he doesn't exist therefore we don't exist either?

Tricky thing to insert self into story. When Stephen King did it in the 'Dark Tower' saga, it was sort of jarring. Here, this feels more like a 'Christmas Carol' What-If? type of thing, so I think it will work fine.

Yeah, I reckon most of us have the odd 'average' page from time to time, where we need to fill in part of the plot, but skip on the art. It's O.K. tho', not 'crap'.

Didn't mean to make the post so big :P And before anyone comments on Sarah's last bubble: there is nothing wrong with it, no typos or anything (oh, and the art work is not crap, may not be as elaborate as other pages but it still works: minimalistic so readers can focus on the words :P) Oh yeah, and Happy New Year from the future :D

Makes sense to me: 'Nikki' (who is looking more 'female' than ever, loving that, shows how this is a 'dream' and this is how Nick sees himself truly) is saying that originally she drove a wedge between Sarah and Janey so she could have Sarah for herself, but then realised that she couldn't just _take_ Sarah's affections but it was too late to just put them back together (in real life, can never undo what has been done) and Sarah can't 'just forget' what happened so this is a chance for her to see if her feelings for Janey are 'for reals and forever' or if she can find someone new to help her heal
