Ughh This is not a good morning for me to be looking at yesterdays comments for sure! lol
Okay hope this clears things up a lot. The whole thing up to here so far has just been Sarah's dream so what you are really seeing is her own surreal interpretation of her break up and Nikki writing about her life. This means that though it's Christmas outside, in the dream she's really wrapped up in a different little world and wrestling with a mix of real memories and odd thoughts as well as fantasy.

DV: Yeah I admit Lucid dreams are hard to maintain and this story is going to have to exaggerate the possibilities a bit but hopefully it'll still be entertaining. :)

Tommym: Yes, I loved doing that panel, I only wish I'd had more room to do it in. I have a model Robby too and mines a similar size but only about 12 yrs old so if yours is an original metal one it must be worth a bit by now!

DV: Don't try to over analyse. Just enjoy the story. It could involve a platoon of drum majorettes and a jaccuzi full of banana flavoured Angel Delight.

Oh, and one other thing about LD's: anyone who believes they are alone in there has never really experienced one (another thing: dieing in a dream can either kill your real body, or free you from the dream, and a 'true dream death' {in which your dream body actually dies forever} feels like what a real one would, presumably as haven't died in this world yet)

Did Sarah turn into Barbarella? And Nikki into Janey? Lucid dreaming is not as easy as people think, it takes lot of hard work and great concentration to firstly make it then maintain it (one of the most difficult parts is reminding yourself it _is_ a dream so pesky things like 'physics' aren't concrete, and then teach yourself how to do things not normally possible, like fly or punch a hole through a brickwall barehanded {without even breaking the skin}). The more concentration used to maintain the LD brings you closer to waking up

Dear Sky, First panel reminded me of M C Escher's "Drawing Hands" where two separate hands emerge from the page ,each drawing the other hand,seems Sarah and Nikki are each creating each others actions. Really great sci-fi scene! My Grandfather bought me a Robby the Robot (about 7 inches tall)"Batteries Not Included" after watching "Forbidden Planet". Great Little Green Woman near Magic Mushroom very nice detail:) Lucid Dream OMG! Means Sarah can now do Anything! Oh! The unlimited power of the female mind! tommym

Do I sense "fan service" coming? That'd be cool but I bet it'll be good either way. Regardless I am loving the Christmas special. I wonder if Sarah will remember any of the dream when she wakes and we return to the canon.
