Getting anxious for the update. Also, hi Emma! And I don't see Sarah dating anyone, Lucy or otherwise, working in a sex store. Not considering how things ended with Janey and the lead-up to said events. There would probably be some trust issues and we all know Sarah isn't exactly adventurous. Just my thoughts...considering I have to read in monochrome it seemed more likely a corner store. But I also tend to overanalyze things to death. ~Liz

Love the shirt patterns. Hadn't noticed the magazine until it was pointed out but other than that, I assumed it was a convenience store (as we call them). They sometimes carry adult magazines but they don't generally insult the customers! Great page.

If you recall, on the first page where Sarah meets Lucy, she points out that Lucy has put toothpaste next to the dog food and seems to have a habit of making odd placements in folllowing pages, so this is probably just down to more of her rather qirky sales techniques. ;) I think I will avoid having cauliflower in the future tho. lol

O.K., yeah, Bex ( I thought you were somewhere other than the USA ) Well I lived in the U.K. until I was 31, so it just looks like the kind of "open all hours" local shop you get a lot of there. Usually run by someone like the KwikkyMart bloke in the Simpsons B-)

It wasn't obvious exactly what kind of shop this is... but you did make sure that hearts and chocolates and boobs were visible on the shelves so I wondered... That, and Lucy did say Sarah would be able to find it a couple pages back, making me think it'd stand out in some way... I mean I certainly knew it wasn't a leather-and-spikes shop, but some sort of 'love accessories'...? Sure I thought maybe... ;)

There is always so much fun in your details which adds such clever nuggets to the pages! Cereal, deoderant, cauliflower & boobie boxes, this is such a great store!! :D

As for the shop! A couple of readers have wondered if Lucy works in a sex shop now but I'm not sure where that idea spawned from. lol I guess it says a lot about the way my own mind normally thinks!XD But yea, as Liz points out there are OTHER things in the shop beside rudey mags and the breast shapes above the vegetable rack are supposed to be Easter eggs! *ROTFL* as I was eating one when I did the page! I think Becky just assumed they must be breast enhancers because that's how her mind works!XD

Anyways, story wise: First Sarah's confident apparoach! lol Maybe I'm cruel but I rather wanted to put Sarah in Alison's position in a rather milder sense, desperately wanting to be closer to Lucy but also aware that maybe Lucy's not as into her as she hopes for. Either way it's that most frustrating of stages when neither has has yet voiced their true feelings and has to make their own judgements about how mutual the attraction really is. Sometimes we act on cues that later seem possibly a little rash! lol

Hi guys,:) After I updated yesterday I decided to prise my 'E' key up and clean under it as it kept missing and the end result is that I now have a hole where it used to be! As E is probably THE most used letter of the alphabet I'm really screwed on my cherished old laptop until I can get a new keyboard installed. So for now I'm using an anciet notebook which is frustratingly slow as I'm so used to my old keyboard that I keep hitting the wrong keys!

I really wish I could read into the same things that other people do. It appears to me to be a fairly standard general store. Candies, hygiene supplies, lottery tickets, a bargain bin, etc. The boobs are clearly on a magazine along with a lot of other magazines and comics nearby (I spy MAD for instance). I could be wrong...and it'd be fun if I am...but nothing strikes me as particularly sexual about the shop other than one top-shelf magazine the kiddies can't reach. ~Liz
