There was a lovely up-market restaurant in Llantwit Major, that had a conservatory, with a white grand piano...I went there a couple of times and never forgot it (..as will realize, if you still remember the restaurant scenes in B.E.) . We had an upright and my oldies played - Dad, smoothly classical, unfortunately Mum was more "Mrs.Mills", but thankfully didn't play often ! I had lesson, but I preferred to be out playing... B-)

The artwork and coloration work so beautifully together. Love the pattern in the duvet. There's a body inside the piano (that's where she's earned her chops)!!

Tess: Grand Pianos are so strangely romantic aren't they! My parents bought an upright one in my teens which is still at dad's house except he's the only one who can't play it! lol

Kim: I do enjoy doing the romantic pages more than anything else and I've been so keen to get onto the 'piano scenes' so it was frustrating to stumble over those keys as much as I did. Becky's colouring though really was the icing on the page for me on this one as she captured the mood so well with her colour scheme.:)

I'm late to the party as usual! :) First of all, THAT STAIN! I didn't think anything of Tommym's original remark at first but then I read DV's and Bears and finally wondered what were were talking about!lol So to clear that up for you all it WAS originally just creases in Sarah's dress but as I could see what Tommym meant I thought it was nice to make that slight alteration, so now it is Lucy's hand after all! ;)

Dear Sky, Thanks for the info on the dress Bear:) I'll venture a step further on Lucy. She killed a playmate and was hospitalized until daddy's money got her out. She then, with piano wire, killed another playmate. Daddy hid the body to protect Lucy. Laura a new friend discovered the body in the locked room. Before she could tell the police "Laura was taken care of" by Daddy Mommy and Lucy with some more piano wire ...tommym

Ah, how unreliable the "eye-witness" can be ! One thinks it's a HAND, another thinks it's a stain ! In fact, it is merely the shadow marks of creasing from the action of walking - as, in fact, are the ones on Lucy's dress too ! ...Glad the DUCK wasn't actually DEAD, last night ! B-)

I think it's an absolutely beautiful page! I've had pianos make a few appearance in my comic and yours stomps them all!!! Those sun doors too!!! Pacing is proceeding wonderfully here too...! And Sarah, I think Lucy's got us all squirming with curiosity!!
