DV: I like to think Twister, possibly leading to the bedroom! lol I imagine though she was probably expecting something more modern like Halo or Skyrim. I'm out of touch with computer games though as I can never play them without dying within the first few minutes!

Kim: I have to admit I'm really enjoying this section. When I do the sex scenes I like the challenge of making them funny, interesting and real and I had the same mindset towards the creepy stuff, thinking about the smaller things that often start off just by creeping me out a little but then building up in my mind to a feeling that this is not a place I want to be!

PB: Good to see you again :) I know, I was the same chhosing the refs on EBay! lol I ended up with far more than I could include and I really craved to show some of the box art too instead of the edges but I had to restrain myself. :)

Bear: haha The lighning was Becky's contribution. I never had the Thunderbirds rocket I had a FAB 1 but I also wanted the Batmobile :) I know the rocket you mean tho but I can't picture what it looked like offhand. The Thunderbird ones just had wheels and a friction motor.

DV: haha yes Subbuteo was never a game we had but it was such a big thing before computer games that I felt it had to go in there. We never owned Oujia either but that has it's own reasons for being there ;)

SO busy browsing for minutia, that I totally missed the lightning ! Does that rocket 'go'? A mate had one, when I was about 11, with a base to fire off. You half-filled it with water, then used a bike pump to pressurise it, then press the button on the base...WHOOOOOOSH ! Used to go a fair way up ! B-)

Bear: I trolled Ebay for glimpses of the box edges as I wanted to keep it as authentic as I could, but in the end I had to manipulate the designs a bit. I chose board games for a reason too as there is relevance to this page in Lauras story ;)

Tommym:) Lovely to see you back again. It's not a videocam btw it's a Chad Valley slide projector. My gran gave me one one for Christmas one year when I was very wee and it was my most treasured toy for many years. The slides came in strips (I had Disney) which told short stories in comic strip form. I used to make a den with my sister and then we would have a picnic and film show inside. ;)

Oh wow! Subbuteo! Believe we had that football game :D We also had a Barnabus Collins game (or however you spell his name), you had to piece together a glow-in-the-dark skeleton, and it had a couple pairs of 'vampire fangs' you could wear (the old plastic kind, with top and bottom teeth) ... Is that a Ouija board tucked amongst the more innocent board games? o_O ... Classic Mousetrap, they have released a new version, doesn't look the same :(

Methinks a good few old fotos were used to create this page ! In my era it was mostly monopoly or risk, on wet days in the summer hols. My son's stuff was much more fun : Voltron ( he loved that ) and then the old Commodore 64 and its primitive computer games. That "Chop-chop" man alone would give me nightmares, but I've been thinking all week long how he's typical of U.K. gardens, particularly gnomes - don't see gnomes as much here ... can you make gnomes scary too - any at the mansion ? B-)
