The story so far:
Sarah has been lodging with the Cranberrys for some time and made a deal with Mrs Cranberry to babysit the children on Tuesday nights in exchange for two cooked dinners per week. She soon discovered however that there was something rather strange about these mysterious nights out as they were very reluctant to talk about where they went or what they did. Sarah mentioned it to her friend Jenny at a party recently and Jenny suggested they follow them and find out!

Becky's been held up on the colouring this week so I've decided to give you the page in b+w for now and then replace it with the coloured version when it's done.

Fallopian: Going by what Bear remembers too, it seems to be quite a British invention and is definitely about being outdoors rather than in. In the few clips I do remember the most popular locations were either local woodland, or quiet car parks. Years ago when our own pet dog was in heat, we had dogs turning up at the house from all over, many of which I'd never seen before; so I assumed this is how the term 'dogging' came to be used.

Kim: I saw the same documentary as Bear last year which was all filmed here in the UK and mentioned something about long distance lorry drivers being heavily involved in the beginning, miles away from home and looking for fun. As always though you are very perceptive in judging character. ;)

Bear: Haha I have to admit I thought the term 'dogging' was so obscure that the majority would never have heard of it and it was quite a surprise that a few readers started mentionioning it as a possibility last week.

Well, at least Mrs. Cranberry came prepared by wearing her very finest dogging attire! In the U.S. this activity is usually just called a gang-bang. Or does "dogging" specifically refer to the public location, as opposed to just going to a hotel room?

Kim' - "Dogging" is very specifically British, so I'm not surprised you hadn't heard of it. I left there 35 years ago, so even I wouldn't have heard of it, unless I had heard/seen the references to it on U.K. T.V. shows, watched here, Downunder B-)
