SS6 34 Day trip to Warwick 3
skyangel on June 17, 2017
I suppose I should really have had a page where Sarah confesses and the two girls fight it out on top of the tower before falling off the parapet and plunging together into the river below but.. this isn't really that kind of comic, so I went for quiet sulking intead. ;)
Next week: Sarah decides to take a break from all her problems at Carlingford to catch up with Nikki. Can Nikki cheer her up? We shall see!
We'll also be celebrating our 10 year anniversary so over the next few weeks I'll be posting a few extra goodies alongside the updates.
Have a nice week :)

Mo: Haha Your probably right. She'd certainly have fun playing with your characters! :)

Quiet sulking made more sense (I really can;t see Sarah acting like Sekhmet!) :D Sarah is getting to understand how it feels to be with someone who's thinking of someone else... that's a painful experience, I guess, but it could also help accelerating decisions. What's going to happen, next? This could either make or break the relationship. For sure, Lucy has to let go of Laura, sooner or later, or she'll never have a real life with any real woman.

IB: I think you summed the page up very nicely and that's exactly how I viewed the situation myself. Adding to what I just replied to STR below, I often feel in life that people are quite ignorant of others situations until they have experienced the same thing themselves and then their attitude is often much more passionate. So I did feel it was nice to show Sarah now understanding how Kirsty felt when she had been rather arrogant about it back on the Scotland trip.

I'm surprised that Sarah isn't a little bit more understanding of where Lucy's at right now. They've both lost someone incredibly near to them, and they're both still hung up on that one person.

STR: I guess you're right but from my experience people are people and often led by their emotions rather than moral feelings. Both Sarah and Janey used to display a somewhat selfish side at times so although Sarah's not showing it to Lucy i felt it was worth sharing her private thoughts.

It's pretty much the same thing, dude.

One difference: Janey isn't dead, she's just in Scotland (not _quite_ the same thing :P )
