So now it's official, Laura is alive and well! All Sarah has to do now is decide what to do about her dicovery.

Next week: Sarah gets some advice from a rather unusual source!

I just popped back to make sure I'd 'faved' your comic as I couldn't remember doing it. We must catch up when you have time so I know what's been happening down under. I'll look forward to checking your updated comics too, Puppets and Strings is still on my list for old times sake! :)

I would lurk around and read comics but never felt like replying. But yeah, I'm back with a new project and some updates to other long, abandoned ones :D Good to be back! Glad to see this is still going strong. Love the direction this is going in btw! Incredibly intriguing!

Dear Sky, She's Alive! Sarah deserves the Nancy Drew Award! So... Why is Laura afraid? Because she was expecting some one else? It would be easy for Laura to learn about Lucy's new girlfriend Sarah. Sarah now needs the wisdom of Sherlock Holmes. So many possibilities:) tommym

Tommym: If the Duck had such an award I'd certainly covet it! lol I can't explain why Laura's afraid at the moment but Sarah's on the verge of getting the whole story so I have to zip my lips on that one for now. :)

A night sky and lit street lamps might've been a nicer'feel' on that last panel...since she's doing her best Philip Marlow stuff now B-)

Looking back the panels don't really indicate time of day, so she could have been going home as it got dark ( I thought )..then again, if it's not winter, your evenings go on a lot longer - and often look like that last panel, I seem to remember B-)

Bear: Possibly so but then it would mean the other panels would have to reflect a night time atmosphere too. I've always liked the idea of using the weather to reflect the mood of the page, sunny for happy and dull for sad but then sometimes flipping it when it feels too corny, so like May's funeral being warm and sunny and Sarah being creeped out by being in a room that grew darker while the sun still shone outside.

That would have been a good idea Bear! I was so excited that Sarah was in a raincoat instead of her usual summery outifts that I imagined a blustery English sky. Sometimes Sky does changes things (like the color of the garage door here), but I can always change the sky at another time.

Becky: I can see I need to put her in a raincoat more often! Personally I like the blustery sky as I felt it portrayed the idea of her future now being cloudy with the threat of a storm looming as she walks towards it.
