SS6 81 A quiet drink together

I realised during the week that there are only about 4 pages to go before we finish the chapter! As I said before we will have to have a short epilogue which will probably be between 10-20 pages depending how on how evenly the remaining pages need to be paced but for now everything centres around this final meeting with Laura which is why I decided to give them a much nicer setting for the final scene. It's a pub close to where I live so easy enough to get nice refs and I much prefer open skies and countryside to closed in rooms anyway..and hair always moves more sexily in a breeze! ;)

Next week: Sarah and Laura go for a nice one to one together and Sarah finally gets a chance to hear Laura's perspective on what happened that
night at the construction yard!

Arici: Haha Well poor Nikki is the only one whose not really in a relationship at the moment. Sarah so often shares a room with Nikki but purely on a platonic basis at the moment. It's all coming together at last though now. :)

Don't want to be rude or anything, butt why did Nikki come along? Shouldn't it have just been the three of them? Sarah, Lucy & Laura?

DV: Good point but as Bear says, Sarah was staying with Nikki when Lucy turned up and being as they were all hanging out together in the early part of Sarah's relationship with Lucy, even having heart to hearts with Lucy aside from Sarah, I personally would have felt bad asking her to sit this out. I can imagine too that Sarah feeling like the gooseberry in this love triangle might have even persauded Nikki to come too just for support and a hand to hold.

It's just Nikki doesn't know the other two, well, maybe Lucy a little, butt thought this was supposed to be just the three. Understand that Nikki is probably there for Sarah, butt can she really be impartial when she has feelings for Sarah?
