panels and you

Since I have comments (as in, more than usual) I will try to respond to some.
@king101: Discriminate against “them”? By posting tutorials? I think you're trying to make this into something it isn't.
@snowninja: My solution sadly, is that as I said on an earlier page, pokemon ingame trainer sprites just really aren't suited to be used for stories with focus on characters and their journeys (as most pokemon comics are). I understand that custom sprites are a lot of work, but I think the pay off and visual characterization that comes with them is huge. I don't really have a specific solution other than that at the moment. Mostly I'm just trying to point out some very common problems and mistakes, though if I should come up with any other ideas I'll be sure to share them. I'm just focusing on Pokemon comics right now because they seem to be the biggest fad of sprite comics right now on DD, so there's a lot more active comics to pull from. Eventually I will attempt to get to other comics, but they're not as pressing (at the moment). I'm not going to share my past sprite comic experience. I hope it doesn't come off as rude (though honestly, if I cared about that…) but I'd rather not.
@PKNESS: I'm harsh but I'm at least going to be honest with you.
@Brawllucas: I was unsure how the samples would be received so thanks for the pseudo endorsement.
@Nintendude: Mustaches aplenty eh?
@Darkpower101010: Thanks for the 20.

This comic is genius. I thought I had more to say than that, but I don't... I hope you move on to other type of sprite comics, though a lot of these can be applied to any sprite comic. ... I guess that's all I have to say...
Nintendude at 11:32PM, Dec. 20, 2010
Yes mustaches aplenty! But I do not see any staches in the page...unless...THEY ARE INVISIBLE!.....pure genius! You get a 5 for every 1 invisible mustache in the page with the max of one.

Good stuff hopefully someone actually takes the time to look at your advice, because it all makes perfect sense. Heck it actually gives me slight hope of returning to comicing.

But what about free paneled comics?
Snowninja at 3:54AM, Dec. 16, 2010
Oh, and I forgot, is there anyway for you to make an observation about my text bubbles and character develpment? I'm having a hard time with those, and I would appreciate it (That is if there is any real character develpment in my comics, lol).

Thanks for answering my question Yahweh, I wanted to know your past experience but that is none of my buseness, and as for the pokémon trainer sprites, I continue agree with what you say. Anyway, I see you used my comic as a last example on this page, and If I do say so myself, It is quite a bad work of art coming from me, it must be due to the lack of time or maybe I was lazy, but hey, can't get a guy get lazy these days? Heh, nah, I just do sprite comics for fun, mostly what I want is to write a story (which in must cases fail) and experience pure contemplation of what I've done and what I can do. Furthermore, I agree with everything you said so far in these past pages, though I wish reality wasn't so harsh, it is true in it's word, and I would like that not only me but others consider these facts here presented as your over view of sprite comics, in other words, your opinion.

yes, the problem with these are mostly people are sometimes trying to fit too much on a page and i think try to make the space in proportion to how many panels. (just a theory) i myself have a problem with this and might have found a solution to this. after making the first panel, use the square brush(not sure what its called) and use the smallest square the tool has, not including shrinking it yourself and put a square at the right lower corner. use this to help you make a good amount of negative space and to line up your panels out.
