About

I did polictical cartoons in high school and college. In college I stopped and started doing comic strips and later became the comics editor. The strip I drew ran in several college newspapers and afterwords produced a few comic book issues that were distributed nationwide.
After earning a BFA in Art/Illustration from Cal State Long Beach I've worked in various art jobs but most have been more design and print based. I have also taught design and art at the Art Institute and at ITT. I am working towad a Master's degree to keep teaching but presently am teaching no classes.

It’s hard to be Walter, a walrus, out on his own for the first time & sharing a room with Butch, a small black dog, who is way out of his league in college. Some days can be as mundane as dealing with laundry and classes. other weeks they could be trying to stop an alien invasion and a time space continuum loop. With their friends’ help they get through their humorous and wild adventures. Enjoy as Elsewhere celebrates over 25 years and serves up A Slice of Life with Sci-Fi Pie for Dessert!
