Color Special #1 Pg. 06

I don't think I've ever used as highly saturated colors before… I'm trying to stylize my coloring just as much as my lineart, trying to find a recognizable style for this comic. For a pretty long time, A.D 1997 was done without any stylistic considerations. It's just when I started a “superhero comic” that I consciously considered changing my style… now I'll try to find an individual style for all of my comics.
Also, “Hades” is the greek version of Pluto (or vice-versa: Pluto is the Roman version of Hades), the God of the Underworld. It's a little in-joke about Naoki Urasawa's manga “Pluto” (which in turn is based on Osamu Tezuka's “Tetsuwan Atom” aka “Astro Boy” - I really can't recommend Urasawa's work enough). Yup, Tezuka's/Urasawa's Pluto is a robot.
Thanks a lot for reading & commenting!

Nepath & trevoramueller: Thanks!
JNP: That makes sense :P I rarely use lens flare, so when I do there'll have to be a really good reason :D
DAJB: Well, thanks for stopping by! :P

Yay - I have access to the internet again (temporarily!) Just going to leave a quick five before dashing off. Lots more comics to see and I'm likely to be disconnected (again!) any minute now!

Oh I much prefer the brighter colors. Your comic is like mine in a way. Very vibrant, alive, and full of heart. So brighter colors work well with it IMO Nice use of a lens flare too!
