The Holy Book

Had I any ability to rant before, it's gone now. Not sure why it went or where, but I apologize.
However, I did do some studying of other webcomics recently. I've never really been big on having alot of sources (to me, the more you read, the more you imitate, but I'm most likely wrong on that), but, since everyone else has these near-infinite lists of influences and whatnot, whereas I'm usually just like “Beowulf…?”, I figured I'd try and expand.
Aside from getting a better idea of where we stand (second-tier is where I'd put us), I discovered something that I consider quite a rarity:
For some of those comics I explored, the little blurbs of text under the actual page actual meant something. They actually had a point, a message. Something to impart to the reader. Perhaps not sacred wisdom, but… something.
Something better than “Beowulf…?”

This may be my new favorite page. This also happens to be one of your best comedic-timing strips, IMHO. Goddamn you and you TALENT!
