#5 - Summer Vacation: The Nightmare at 15 Feet

Beaums on Aug. 13, 2007

Bad news ya'll. My internet is on the fritz! Srsly. It started going wonky around Friday, and hasn't been letting up since. The good news is, the solution is probably just a new router. (Of course, the other bad news is, that'll cost money, but WHATEVER.) Our service provider says everything is running smoothly on their end, so the router is really the only option. Anyways, that's why this AF update comes later in the day. I'm gonna keep these notes quick though, because what little internet I do have is in flux. I have it one minute and the next minute I don't.

So… uh… this one's about summer vacation. It's based on some actual thoughts I had when I landed in Las Vegas for a vacation back in July. But of course, that's not me saying the lines in the comic, it's my pal Matt. And no, he didn't come with me to Las Vegas. I just felt like he was being left out in the Attempted FIshmath series. See? I care! But yeah, I like how this one came to be. Oh, and if you picked up on the fact that the title of this issue is a reference to an episode of “The Twilight Zone”, good prize! I think you are roughly 15 feet off the ground when you're sitting in the seat of a grounded airplane. The key word there is “roughly” though… keep that in mind. Just be thankful I did any research. I usually try to avoid anything that involves learning over the summer at all costs.

I'm outiez,
Beaums

P.S. I should have time to pick up a new router tomorrah, so don't you fret about next week's update!
