Belinda Brandon did this film in the late 1990s when she was in her 20s. It was a welcome respite from the Barbarian Sisters and Battle Girls in Hell series. Both of those have the first franchise installments written. I wrote them to use all the Medieval stuff I had accumulated for Sword of Kings and thought I wasn't going to use after cancelling work on it. Silly me.

The crew wear “skinsuits” which are a sort of second skin developed for use by space explorers. They are created as needed from patterns stored in the ship. For maximum effectiveness they are best worn in direct contact with the skin. They're tear proof and completely protect from the vacuum of space as well as extremes of heat and cold while allowing maximum freedom of action. If supplemented with an EXO-belt nearly any environment can be explored.

And you can look like a superhero in tights while wearing it.

With advanced enough technology stuff could end up being very minimalist. Which makes filming a low-budget sci-fi movie easy. The technology here is consistent with the Aordian universe, though these ladies are not necessarily citizens of the Aordian Republic. As will be revealed later this is set just outside the Aordian Republic's borders.

If you have seen other of my comics you should recognize the cast. The gal with the green eyes is Sasha from Attack and Battle of the Robofemoids NOT Searsha. Everybody has a near twin somewhere.

A technical aside, the Searsha figure is a repaint of the Sasha figure with brown eyes. I originally used the Sasha head for Searsha, then found her character sheet and went back and repainted the figure. For continuity I even went and edited every panel to change the eyes to brown. The “Sasha” figure is a near likeness to Maureen O'Hara so I had to keep her around.

Because of this comic I've come up with the real names for the actresses and there might be a credits page.
