Space Slave Commentary Epilogue

So who is Searsha Letalon? If you read Battle of the Robofemoids you'll discover she is sector head for the Security and Investigation Group (SIG) and at the end of that comic recruits Jenny, Aura and Sil-vera into SIG thereby forming the basis for the the next comic Tales of SIG: star strip

But damn if she doesn't look like Searsha the Claw from Sword of Kings! Distant ancestor. Besides it's fun playing with a similar character in two entirely different milieu. Not identical by any means.

In her role as sector head she is involved with the security of the Earth system. The Aordians are getting impatient with disclosure so they advise certain media and leak to researchers. Leaks and hints only until Earth is ready for full Disclosure. Because there are species that slip the Aordian quarantine and work with human governments to do some nasty stuff, the Aordian republic would like to tidy that up before Earth gets interstellar drive and is welcomed into the galactic community.

They usually find and prosecute renegades who break the quarantine and sometimes they can restore some of the damage done. I postulate that matter has a temporal “memory” so by tapping into that it can be restored to an earlier state in spacetime. Bill and Hank mention it in Battle of the Robofemoids and it's used by Darth Theda to restore the faces of the previous generation of robofemoids. So in the universe here the ladies could be restored. Maybe. And one does look like Beverly from Tales of SIG: Star Strip. Nah, that's just synchronicity. After all in all the billions of genetic reshuffles of human DNA people who look like each other, who aren't directly related, are bound to exist. Everyone has a double somewhere.

Thanks to agentny003 for inspiring the epilogue image. I followed El Cid's paradigm for exposure to space. She didn't explode, just some internal ruptures that led to bleeding. She probably had the modifications that allow a robofemoid to remain in a vacuum for up to 30 minutes. But her time is up. Her ship's identification reveals her name: Shey. (Which is one suggestion for a gender neutral singular personal pronoun)

Starting next week: GOOB.
