So the Elf King, also known as the Hanafubuku King (whatever that means) is the head guy at Elfhelm, which hasn't appeared in the actual comic yet. Because of that I sort of had to make up his character design, based on cliche pictures of Elf Kings like in Lord of the Rings. I'm sure Miura's actual elf king will be much stranger and original. Also since in Berserk Elves are more like Fairies the dude might have wings. Who knows? I DON'T.

foreshortening etc is always difficult but it's by making pages that we get better! Just keep challenging yourself, I'm pretty excited to see more

Hey thanks dude. I dunno about that talent thing though. Every time I draw a page of this I realize how little I know about art. Persepective and foreshortening especially kill me. Anyway thanks for checking this out! I'm working on the next page as we speak. It's a doosy.

Hm. I love Berserk, a lot. I look up to Miura a lot, I think he's one of the greatest artists alive. I'm not sure how to feel about this project. It is neat in that it's an adaptation of a story we won't see for some time, but I feel like you have so much talent, that you'd be better suited to do something on your own. Fav'd, will definitely check back. I hope after you finish this project you'll make another comic! :]
