Case #009432
March 15, 2008
While conducting a flight test of his newest aircraft, the scientific adventurer known as Doctor 13 reported that one or more egg-shaped objects, radiating intensely bright blue-green light, and periodically spewing out a cloud of sparks, streaked over the states of Pennsylvania and New York last night.
According to his limited sensors, which were affected by the UFO's unique energy signature, the craft(s) crash landed in the Atlantic Ocean, roughly 50 miles out. Doctor 13 is currently coordinating with state and federal authorities from his laboratory headquarters in Venture City to located and identify the UFO(s). So far there has been no trace of any UFO water landing or wreckage that would indicate that it may have been an airplane or other aircraft mistaken as a UFO.

Could be a kid in a weather balloon. Wait, no, it isn't.

Well, all UFO really means is "unidentified flying object" -- not "alien spacecraft": we don't know what it is. Could be a weather balloon, could be Venus, could be secret military aircraft. BTW, "mistaken as" should be "mistaken for" :)
