This is the last page of the pilot. Lydia and Ernesto are about to reveal to Senora Sanchez, Lydia's mother, that she is pregnant. Had I continued Senora Sanchez would've been understanding of the situation and welcomed Ernesto and the baby in the family. Ernesto's mother, Senora Nunez wouldn't have been so understanding and in the opening arc she would assert that Lydia is nothing but a prego whore and she doesn't want anything to do with the unborn child or Lydia.
