Finally I broke down and fixed this one, it appears mt crappy shading techniques of the past were confusing people, making it look like Charby is sitting out in broad daylight. He's actually supposed to be sitting behind the fence in the chicken coop, which is still in the shade. He'll probably sleep in there with the chickens for the day…

I second Katyas, I've heard roosters crow all night, but not at dawn. Anyways, that's besides the comic. Brilliant comic as usual. I wonder if Charby slept in coops a lot.

Charby's not a morning person? That's nothing; these days, I'm not even an AFTERNOON person! I find myself going to bed when the sun rises, and waking up when it's about to set! Oh well, at least I don't go around eating chickens!

He yanked the rooster down back into the coop with him, so he's still sitting in the dark actually. I tried to imply this with lots of "burn tool", but my knowledge of photoshop was very limited at this time (considering I'd been using it for a only week then) so it's not as dark as I had wanted it (burn tool tends to saturate the colors too much depending on the setting, and I didn't realize there were other settings!)

shouldn't he have realized at this point that he was impervious to sunlight? I agree Charby, I HATE mornings.. Thankfully, I'm homeschooled, and therefore, get to sleep through them ... on the off-chance that I've gone to bed by sunrise... (not often!)
