I see what you mean about the give-away (although I can see two...) I do really like these early eps though. I really like the later ones too, but these are more syndicated-like and the later ones are very much serious story-oriented. Neither of these is a bad thing for me, I grew up reading Peanuts, Garfield and Calvin & Hobbes long before I graduated to the darker stuff. I've been doing some serious reading around on CTV and think I've just discovered that this has all actually happened already, like the current DD stuff isn't 'new' but is essentially on an edited re-release? Awesome world, awesome strip. A 7 year run? Still being creative and not just rehashing in-jokes? You, Amelius are truly deserving of a God-Like Genius award...
