That's the problem with pompous overly do-goodie guys. They give away how much you're worth and then tell you how bad they want you, making you pompous and your life more valuable in your eyes, thus escaping seems a whole lot easier.

I didn't like the Original Vic either, despite being one of my favorite charcters. Maybe it was the hat, or hat my first impression of him was some over-confident creep who's probably considered a weirdo in town for hunting demons becuase they think it's all in his head. That, and he acted like a total dork. First impresions are always wrong -_-
