Didya know I based his character design almost solely on a song I liked? “Who will save the sane” by Type O Negative, because it mentions a “fake tear”. Of course the intent of the song isn't about a wannagoth like Hector, but that's what came to my mind when I heard it! His character anatomy itself in these early strips were a real throwback to my old style of drawing humans. To be fair and honest, I drew very few human characters in the past, so most of my “people” were bug-eyed and cartoony like Heck is here. CTV is actually the first comic I did that featured human characters and not bizarre animal-like creations or just plain animals (like Beck the Ferret)

Poor Hector. He's just trying to fit in. The irony of the 'individuals' who sheep together is clearly not lost! Let's avoid that we all do it to an extent because we're human... :) Is this actually the first time Charby shows evidence of moral standards? Or is it just that it's no fun when they don't struggle? Probably. Kill-joy!

Don't think Charby looks like a girl at all... didn't confuse him for one at first either... Hector on the other hand... BTW that grandma greets him as her favorite grandson ^^ that's just mean and funny :P

I love this comic :) I started reading it a few awhile ago and then lost it. Just wanted to mention there is a slight spelling error as Charby says Pepare instead of prepare.

I was pretty much "vampires rock" from the time I was 9 or 10. I think that was about the time "Drac Pac" came out. To bad it only ran one (or was it two?) season.

Wow, long one there. I know a little 7 year old girl who's pretty much like that. But she's the "I wanna be a fluffy pony" type. And my best friend moved so she's the only girl I have nearby to hang out with. *sigh* But that's an RSVP invitation to a pity party, now ain't it?
