I think Vic is just dreaming. When you're almost awake your mind translates real sounds into your dreams. The sound of a werewolf is probably linked closest to his memories of when he lost his eye. The dream just assumed since the wolf was dead, it must have been him howling. Wow, Vic sees himself as one rabid werewolf. Maybe the poison is just lying dormant, supressed, waiting for him to weak and then when he's almost on his last breath... AROOOooooo. Ok, starting to creep myself out now.

Bad news for Hector. Then again, having the name "Hector" can be considered a bad omen sometimes... It's like being named after a guy who got killed... oh, right. Nah, Hector's a fine name. There are worse out there. And there are those who ruin names... See anyone wandering about with the name "Adolf" anymore? Know why?

I like how his bad eye bleeding during the change added to the overall effect. I'm not even sure why but the whole thing is great.

He admitted it to her a while ago actually ^_^ She didn't believe him at first, but she does after he tells her he was the one that took a boot to the crotch by her. This discussion is of course, implied to have transpired shortly after the other dog-incident involving some inappropriate sniffing!
