Mistakes

No, she didn't totally go and “mary-sue” herself for him. Here's a hint though, she didn't know she could do that…
FYI: Mary Sues are those “too good to be true” female characters that are typical of movies or cartoons, nothing they do goes wrong and everyone loves them because they are beautiful. For example, the chick who comes in and shows up all the guys in a movie? Total Mary Sue. They come in degrees though. Mye has been accused of being one of these in the past, but believe me she has her flaws like any other character. And yeah, she's one I consider myself closest to, along with Charby and Hex. Not that I have the same problems, have good looks or am that fixated with my own reflection, I just use bits of my own mind when writing for them . ^_^
(it gets really messy on the paper, minds are kinda bloody)

*EDIT* Okay, “mistakes” was a good title for this, because obviously I need to clear something up since someone on TV Tropes decided to be a total idjit about my author's note here.
First off, ONE PERSON, before DD got nuked, said she MIGHT come off as a Mary Sue here, it was not a bunch of people making an accusation. By reading what was written on TVT, it sounds like I was going “Baaw, stooooop it! Stop calling her a Mary Suuuuuuue guys!” and I resent the impression it gave off.
Why I even bothered to bring that up here, when I should have known someone was going to be a total jerk about it, shows only my lack of foresight into what people conceive in their mind as: defense=admission of guilt. And why? Because I mentioned she “has flaws” but “didn't share them with the audience”. I'm sorry that I don't treat my audience like a pack of dirt-stupid dolts who can't see a character's obvious flaws as displayed IN-COMIC without the author having to come over and list them off for you. It's called Show, Don't Tell. And yeah, I said I consider the character close to me… but honestly, so is Menu!
No, I'm not upset when someone doesn't like my character or characterizations and has legitimate gripes. I'm upset when someone basically accuses me of crappy writing based on the fact that I didn't treat my audience like babies and my character happens to be less evil than her male companions!
