(I forgot that I had notes pertaining to that I needed to repost) The pin hole is much too small to get any Charby-drool into her veins (which is the key there) If he clamped down on her finger with his teeth it would be a different story. If it was the drool alone that turned someone then Mye and Azelea would be infected too, it's actually a "venom" in their actual bite that infects. I had a whole description somewhere... I'll try and hunt it down.
