Ahh Q. Ame likes messing with us. I like how the good guys come across as bad at times, and the bad guys can even look good. Even how Zeno actually switches sides. Although I am, regrettable quite gullable, so it works better on me.

Quixie is interesting. He actually has a point about them not understanding what they actually do have, and only focusing on what they want to get. I find this interesting because it can be used to describe humans as well... "Don't know what you got till it's gone..."

they would be scary as partners his comment is strange as Charby doesn't seem to focus on much... (exceptions are Vicki, chickens and possibly Victor) but he doesn't go crazy for chicken-lust and he was just a bit creepy for Viki. can Quixoto ever actually shut his eyes. La belle got the slits on her eyes when she used the staff... did Quixoto ever use it?

I've never heard of that kind of water horse. Just pookas and kelpies. I suppose it's a strange comibination of both.

hehh it is a Nikur ! awesome ! we have these in Iceland and they look like a normal horse aside from their hooves and ears those are turned backwards, and if you get on one it will run with you to the nearest lake or to the sea to drown you. The only way to get off it is to either say a prayer or say god's name (yehova) it always scared me when I was little

I've read about these creatures with several different names. But this is the first time I've heard the name Each Usige... Is that a Gaelic name by any chance? I've heard the terms Kelpie(which seems to be a term for several different creatures!), amd Nigel before.

In some legends the kelpie does eat its victims once they have drowned. Not trying to correct anyone, its just I love studying a mythological/fairy tale monster type things. ;)

Ohh! I was litterally raised by erm farietailes like this!!! I don't know the english name for it but here on the glayser, it's named "Nikur" and it's ears and hofes (their bottom feet) are turning backwards! The seem normal exept for that! And the minute you go on back they run with you to the nearest lake or sea (were they are from(btw, you can't get of them, your glued)) and drown you. And you can only get off by saying god's name or say a prayer! Other wise you'll die! =S But a great story! =D *5*

Nono, Kelpie is certainly different from the Each Usige (eck-ooshka, I think it's pronounced). Kelpies only drown their victim (from what I've read so far) whilst this will sloppily devour them except for the liver, like I said in my notes. Why is everyone convinced I don't know what I'm talking about? I did look this up after all and compared the 2 before settling on the Usige over the Kelpie.
