First off, our only guest today is Necromunk, who belongs to Milky, the author of the adorable, chipmunks 'n violence comic Chipmunks of the Blade .

Recall when I said I had big news soon? Well, it's been long enough and I can finally tell youse now.
Why have the updates for CTV coming a little slow? Because I'm working on something really, really big:
As soon as it's done, I'm gonna have a graphic novel published. No, not CTV (yet!)but Nightschool.
What's that, you may ask? If you're already familiar with the fan-drawn version, then you know it's a comic written by nick and I, that mostly involves characters that came to exist via a game in the CTV forums in which certain characters were amalgamated (or had a kid) and I drew what the outcome would be. I have no idea what happened to the thread it was in, but that's unimportant!
Nightschool (alternately known as Kojo Academy, in the case of the one I'll be drawing and will be published) was supposed to run at the same time as the fan-drawn version, but we had trouble finding an artist for our story. That's okay though, now I am taking the helm so expect to see the webcomic version up very soon.

I could say it's like Charby at school, but it's not really…it's its own thing by now. The characters at least look like they'd fit in here though!

What does this mean for CTV? Not much at the moment, still with the slow updates probably even though the hard parts are out of the way, but now I've really gotta get going on the fun stuff.

I'm finally doing what I love for a living, and this is my first time really working too!

Also, side note, UIU is not over, it's just on indefinite hiatus until I get stuff together. I'm getting a new art program to speed things up a little. Plus, it's really frustrating to come up with story lines when someone tells you your comic (UIU) isn't original enough and says they've seen the same thing before…but DOES NOT TELL YOU WHERE! Argh! At least tell me what's not original about it! Otherwise, not helpful! (keep this in mind, future reviewers and critiquers, telling an artist to “be more original” is like looking at someone's eyes and saying one is different. Which one? Without direction, you're leaving an exasperated author in your wake, trying to read your text for some indication of what you find “wrong”. Offer some examples!)

final note: My hand is killing me. It gets worse in the summer…which is funny, it first started hurting in the summer…
I still prefer a sore hand over 3 feet of snow, however.
