WOWee, guys! Thanks for all the votes! I should leave panels off more often, haha! All I got for today's incentive is Mannick cleaning the house in that book I never finished! I'm working on a full color one still though, for you wonderful people that had helped us out in a time of need of course!
Guh, my monitor is driving me insane. Anyone know if getting them repaired is worth it or just buying a new one? Right now it's flashing and rolling enough to give me a seizure. It's certainly making hell out of working on comics in photoshop!
Hmm…a question yesterday popped up about Quixoto's age.
So now let me launch into some info that'll probably show up later, but not in something exposition heavy and not for a while, so here goes anyway!
He's just a handful of hundreds of years older than Charby ^_^
But wait, why the name “ancient”? Well, it refers to his/their bloodline and ancestry rather than their ages. Q and his ilk are closer to the “original” vampires, whilst those like the deceased Umatilla are “pure-blood” (can I come up with non-cliche terms someday? I hope!) which means they're close, but a few generations away from the “original”. Then there's second-generation PB, like Rodericke and other pointy-eared vamps, who simply have a smallllish amount of human to them (but don't tell them you know that! They get very sensitive about it!) Last of all is the “spawn” or “sirelings” or whatever you want to call them, and these are simply vampires that used to be human at one point. And yes, there's also Dhampirs, half human-half vampire with a bent for hunting their “vampire dads/mothers” All except, ahem, “spawn” can be born and live a normal child-to-adult lifespan and stop aging at around 30 or so if they take care of themselves.
As for elites? Well, you probably know them best by now. I've yet to delve into the quirks and characteristics of the other vampire types though, but you bet there'll be more of that in the future and it won't be pretty!

I'd start a countdown to the party's end, but I don't trust myself. It's surprisingly few. Maybe 3 but don't quote me on that just in case.
