wicked jack: Well one reason being that when I started drawing this comic kids were easier to draw, and not having much experience with human characters (I mostly drew vaguely animal-ish characters) I was using a loosely Peanuts/Calvin & Hobbes/Dr. Seuss style and "tall" people looked ridiculous in it. Though Vic appeared before many of the CTV characters, he was the only tall character and he looked HORRIBLE! Reason number 2, when I started CTV I wanted to do something different than others, and instead of making a bunch of sexy teens I wanted to have my comic full of short, cute and evil little characters to sort of contrast with what was already out there. Of course now that I've done that, i see all sorts of child-monster things... But I did it to be original! I really tried! But you gotta admit, there's really not a lot of comics with a vampire that's under 4 feet tall but still pretty vicious when he wants to be! Another justification though is almost none of the characters in this comic actually *are* children, the ones that are (Gabby, Fay) happen to reflect my feelings on most children. It's not that I automatically loathe all kids, I just don't want any!

stink in the log: aw now while I appreciate your encouragement and enthusiasm, let's not be calling names or claiming anything like that... people have the right to like or dislike my comic however much they want and to rate it how they honestly feel. Saying stuff like that will only make it look like I'm looking for people to kiss up to me, and that's not what I want at all. A bunch of fives will only seem like empty praise, I'd rather see people discussing and enjoying the comic and if they aren't that means that I just have to work harder.
