#820 Every Picture Tells a Story

No, I don't want to see people's suggestions of what he drew there, don't try and gross me out, just assume it's something very embarrassing!

How does Zerlocke know about Hex? Well, he did watch Mye leave with what she said would be her brother…plus it just emboldens Zerlocke's “rationalization” that “Bunny” form is her real body and “zombie form” is, (glad you caught the pun Matt!) a “minor” setback! While he may have admitted to knowing it was the other way around, at this point he's convincing himself otherwise. It's not that he's repulsed by her smaller self, it's just not what he's attracted to.
And yes to respond to a comment, Yiska does know that Mye is a zombie, she just isn't aware of how old she really is (an easy mistake to make of course) and as for her surprise over Zerlocke, it may seem a bit odd considering her shortness as well, but she's an alp and that's about average height for an adult. She is, in these terms, around her late teens for an alp. Of course since she's an immortal being and doesn't age quite the same way, it's hard to tell so she kinda floats in maturity. She likes it that way of course!
Another thing worth noting is that she, like Charby, is comfortable with her height even if it drives away most of the love interests she'd hit on. In this comic, unless it's something locked in like Menu's werewolfness or Mye's bunny-demon form, maintaining a shapeshift requires a little effort and isn't the most comfortable thing for long term. You wouldn't go jogging in an expensive suit, after all.

Votey incentive today, a sketch that's half-inked of Masan that I didn't use from a few pages back. If you're curious what my pencils sorta look like, here's where to look!
