My workroom is a rather unpleasantly cold temperature right now. I hates it! My hand hurts still, not in the usual part of my wrist (though that hurts also) but that tendon that connects my thumb to my wrist, lordy that hurts like a beast right now! You can thank that for this page taking a while of course, I had to take frequent breaks because this hurts to the point that my eyes get watery. ugh.

Oh, and two things you should know about the Alp on this page: They can only leave a place the way they entered, and they have an aversion to iron so he can't even hide in the vent the way N just made his escape through. Blaine obviously didn't consider the vents to be a threat, that's quite an oversight mister paranoid hunter! So you like a warm room more than not being a vampire?

Anyway, N wasn't there to kill Blaine, but to continue being a total jerk and drop that in his bed as though it were a severed horse head. Whatta pleasant fellow!

Why is Blaine rambling about being the last? Last what? Well, member of his family of course. N's been at this game a while.

And those of you wondering if the rat would be significant, there ya go!

@ Pikmin250: oh I assure you it's the same color I've been using for his hair since the start, it's just that the shading style I've used has changed since then. His parents had a similar hair color, but you're right that his father's hair did look a little lighter brown in the one page we saw him in. He was in slightly different lighting than his wife though.

could Tony make a case that he saved Blaine's life if he was willing to listen? Hoping you get well. I had a problem with a thumb tendon a while back one cortisone shot fixed it. On the comic, I like how clear you made it that Tony is invisible in this page. It was not so clear in the previous page.

So, to confirm, when Tony is in roach form, is he acutally the roaches? Or is he just sitting over there invisible? I'm just wondering if he's drawn there more as an abstract way of showing his emotions (a difficult thing to draw on a swarm!) or if he's not actually connected to the insects.
