That's not helping, Tony! If it needs mention, alps like coffee and milk. Especially milk. But getting an alp off your chest can be as simple as inviting him over for coffee or tea in the morning, which will make him rush off and return the next day in his true form. That's when you can beat the snot out of him until he promises not to come back! No, actually you should ask nicely, but he's gonna wheedle and whine the entire time and probably brought a flip wallet with pictures of his sad-eyed children in it trying to convince you not to make him go away.

Well, caffeine is wearing off for me right now so I should probably go to bed now! Or I could work on the next UIU page…maybe I'll do that since people are begging for it. Ok I might do that. But I have to do something else with pencils first before that too. Ok now I'm going! Hope you like the page!

@Onasaki Does anyone actually blame alps for that? People seem to think it is weird, but when you think of it Alps never got weaned off the instinct towards milk. Even normal infants, if the mother runs out of milk, will draw blood if they happen to be teething. It isn't their fault. @Amelius I still wonder whether Blaine will remember any of this at the end of the possession. The victims of Alpdrukes are usually asleep... wondering if he is sitting in his body screaming that he cant be heard... also wondering if he will do some research into alps after this great page

Well, yeah, of course Alps like milk. Aren't they spawned from still-born infants? Infact, I think that's one thing they /do/ is drink blood from that area. But then, I don't know much about Alps.

I think that those guys are shockingly observant, when you think about the average minion in any large syndicate, slayers not excluded. But then again, they do have the little problem of if they don't notice things they tend to die, which would go a long way towards improving you observation skills probably. *shrugs* good comic, by the way.

@Kay osse:Oh! Sorry, I did see it and I was going to address it in the author's notes of the next page, but when I was updating it I forgot because I was both sleepy and upset because I had sent off a super-long PQ to someone who'd asked the same question and DD told me that they couldn't receive PQs :( You can ask as many questions as you want though, I enjoy answering them! (it's probably best to ask a few times if I forget anyway) So on to the answering! I use Photoshop CS2 for the digital coloring, and lately I've been experimenting between hand inked and digitally inked lineart, often on the same page. I use MangaStudio EX 3 for digi-ink and Microns and Pitt Artist Pens for the hand & scanned inks. I typically scan in pencil work to ink when I'm going with digital inks. Inking with the tablet is a little harder, but at least I can fix the mistakes right away instead of after I've scanned it in! (wobbly hands ruin inks) If there's anything else you'd like to know just ask, if you don't see this I'll send you a PQ as well :) Ka Rin: Oh, but I am aware of that! I considered it carefully, but it's not keeping consistent with his character for him to use his native tongue much these days. Improper though his English may be, he's been using it longer than his Deutsch so it tends to overtake most words, except for a few that he rather liked :) Considering that his thoughts are in English, I thought it would be a tad out of place for him to lapse in and out. Now if he were talking to Yiska in his native language, he'd have said Deutschland :)
