#908 Fridge Horror

Oh hey guys!
Sorry for the late update after all, it couldn't be helped! DD was experiencing some after-launch hiccups, but it looks like it's back on track again.
Unfortunately I lost the notes I had for this update! Oh well!
Before I go on, I should mention that this page is just a joke, and not intended as any sort of pro-or-anti feminist commentary on the “Women in Refrigerators” phenomenon which is, (if you're not familiar with it) the term coined by Gail Simone in response to a now infamous scene in a Green Lantern comic. The link goes to a site that's pretty much all about documenting comic scenes where women were treated as a device for their male counterparts. Do I agree with this? Well, I'm not entirely on one side or the other with this, I agree that it sucks that with the smaller pool of decent mainstream female characters that it's a shame that writers seek to de-power and victimize heroines or female acquaintances, but then again nobody is saying Uncle Ben's tragic demise wasn't an important catalyst in Spiderman's heroic discovery. If we were to apply this to both genders, nobody would ever get killed in comics again!
But yea, it did occur to me after I plotted out this page, and my dear sweet Nick reccomended the magnet for the fridge to puncuate it. But don't take it too much to heart, this fridge has been stuffed with all sorts of people!
Also, I'm going to try to put some of my buttons back but since some of them are HTML only I'll have to settle for putting them in my notes for now.

*edit* Nevermind, the html looked pretty bad. I'll have to figure out how to post it later.(and then the power went out, booo!)
