Jozk made it through the night!
My apologies for missing last Friday's update, last week the power kept going out both from the storm and then simply no good reason at all (no wind no snow, just power outage right as I'm saving stuff!) and it set back everything I'd had a buffer on. Since it was late anyway I just decided to hold on to the pages for the next week and hopefully build that back up.

So beautiful Amy, how do you get a "flashlight effect" or "glow" effect? Is there a free cheat brush in clip studio paint that do that? I've been wanting to try to make a dark scene with lights but I just don't know how to go about it.

Oh, the sunlight dapples? What I did was: took photo of leaves against sky, converted the photo to black & white, cut out the part of leaves with good gaps of sky light, Edit>"Convert brightness to opacity" and made a brush with it. (I made it too small though so I apply it once then use the transform tool to embiggen it, drag-copy it all over the places I want shadowed by leaves) Use dark color on this layer set to "multiply"; then select all transparent "holes", start another layer and fill with a bright yellow or your light color and make layer "add glow" or whichever bright mode looks best for the art. Adjust opacity on both to your liking, if you want stronger contrast between the dark/light and such. Let me know if that helps or I'll just do a pic tutorial when I can. :)
