Don't forget to check out the other two updates from earlier this week.
What can I say about this page other than… I love it! When I first designed Syko Suki I decided to give her a small handbag from which she could withdraw large murderous weapons (aka the Hammerspace Bag), so there was no way I was going to pass up an opportunity to showcase it here. I'm not sure which depiction of her is more unnerving… panel one or panel two. “Syko” is pronounced “Psycho” in case you were wondering, not “Sicko”!
As for Ranger Bill his suit has sci-fi fantasy elements. It is comprised 100% from nano-bots which respond to his thoughts to form jet packs which fold away when not required and generate sonic palm blasters, etc.
In the previous panel Energize tells Hoodoo (and presumably MM overhears) that the "green haired large headed girl" was one of the Doppelgangers he had met. There may have been a briefing on the appearance of those met so far by MM and Energize but while Ranger Bill does have a tendency to be reckless he has a remarkable ability to achieve outcomes, in large part due to the effectiveness of his suit. The bravado can be put down to his personality but also to the general level of invulnerability the suit offers him. In a previous chapter of Magellan it was pretty clear that Ken Spence, retired older hero and overall bad ass, regarded Ranger Bill as bit of a dickhead!
Considering Mindmistress (who has only seen one DGG member) recognized her as one of those who met Energize, I have to assume he described the ones he met during the meeting. Unless she just used her hyper keen intellect to piece it together.
Even then, a kidnapping victim would have been bound in some way.
@FaerieKnight - Thats a good point. If they weren't breifed on what they looked like, that was dumb. If he didn't pay attention, that was dumb. If the fact that it was a kid threw him off.....well that's naive but not dumb. I'd have troulbe hitting a kid, even a supervillain one. Hell, I'd have trouble NOT beating up my teamates for hitting a kid, even if they were evil and weilding a giant ax.
How is Ranger Bill force megellen material if the's that careless and unobservent?! Surely they got briefed on what the known bad guys looked like. Or is MM's presence throwing off his game?

did she go 'leap' or does she actually generate a leap sound effect when she... leaps?

Erm... That axe looks a bit sharp. Also not well used. Probably not something large headed creatures from another universe should be swinging around.
