This concerns some of the contributions Red Death of BAD GUY HIGH made to the Doppelganger Gang. (As well as doing that awesome montage/mural of just about every webcomics superhero who's at all associated with those in either CROSSOVERLORD or CROSSOVERKILL two updates ago–use the “Previous” button—or check it out at BGH.)
The top picture was the first drawings of Night Carver, Kid Apocalypse, and Vector, with the Red Death's brilliant costume designs. (I had a vague idea of a character who would have been from a reality out of a far futuristic space opera webcomic. Vector quickly became what I was vaguely, clumsily reaching for.) One other character has been removed and the outlines blurred out. That character won't be revealed just yet.
Below them is a picture of a Ganger who HASN'T been seen yet, but soon will be. The picture on the left was Red Death's first try at the character. The one on the right is his later conception of Eruption. Originally conceived as an evil version of Energize, Nepath gave us some info about Energize that made it unlikely. (Besides, Justice League/Crime Syndicate evil supertwins have been done to death.) Still, Eruption will have a pivotal role in the next chapter.
Late this week we'll have the cover of the next chapter. But some more concept art tomorrow!
I like the idea of an mirror universe version of Energize. Heck, I like the idea of a mirror universe version of the entire HUverse!
OK, OK, that was one of my story ideas for Heroes Alliance that didn't manifest... yet!
I like to imagine Night-Carver is actually from the Bad Guy High universe. That the BGH-verse might even have multiple parallel gangers, because it's just so rampant with evil and all that. But that's just my non-canon musings so don't put to much stock into it.
And if I told you where Kid Apocalypse is from it might ruin the effect, I'll let that spill when the story has run it's course.
(Oh, and Eruption HAS appeared on one page of CrossoverKill already, just very briefly.)
I was wondering why Eruption looked so much like Energize when I first saw the picture. It'll be interesting to see what he is like, and he must be quite powerful if he was originally supposed to be an evil Energize.

@shastab24 - I had the same thing. If Vector is from space opera, Suki is from chibi manga, then what world does others come from?
