#18 Not From Around Here

Remember, women didn't used to wear pants.

I learned funny things in my costume design class. The oddest thing is that most styles women have had in the past (dresses, lipstick, frilly ruffles, and high heels) were all originally created for men. Throughout history woman has gradually gained the right to wear a man's apparel and then claimed it as her own. It makes me wonder if some day pants will be considered a woman's thing, and men will be wearing something new and strange.
