Edward Carlisle, an aging voice talent in the twilight stages of perennial retirement, finds the White Noise, a space for wayward, lost spirits, as a radio frequency. He then creates the Midnight Broadcast, a radio show dedicated to helping spirits, dead or otherwise, escape a fate worse than death.
