Chameleon: Yea it isn't exactly a day at the spa. Anonymous: Technically he first tried to kill her on page 8. Yes Dross did try and kill her but only because Lord Attez (the rightful ruler of the island) ordered him to before he vanished. Now that Cwen has taken over she's got Dross under her thumb (sort of). Remember Riddly said they need to find a big squatter on the island 'cause neither Cwen nor Riddly can fly off the island by themselves and Dross fits that pretty well so it was sort of enlightened self interest to get Dross on their side after they defeated him.
