I saw there was some question about Cwen's outfits so I'll offer this little bit of info. Wendy has several Cwen outfits in her magic pockets. Usually Cwen doesn't change outfits much on the road so they don't have to constantly rip her seems and they unpack when they are going to be staying some place for a while so Cwen doesn't have cut into Wendy whenever she wants a change of clothing. If an outfit has her Logo on it typically Wendy was holding it. As for the outfit she has on now, she got that from Mia and just cut holes in it for her wings.

Also speaking from experience shirts with wing holes are surprisingly comfortable in the summer time.

As for the X's, well you'll just have to wait and see I'm afraid.

It seems pretty rare that characters will actually admit something like Wendy in the last panel. Just one more awesome thing about this comic.

A lot of things Gram doing or saying does not make much sense. YET. Like shooting bolts around ("I was after Lord Attez") comparing to "Ulric the Enlightened?". Maybe Cwens fable precedes her, with small mistake of confusing her gender. ;-) Also, Wendy quickly ended her romantic dreaming, but careful, paranoia is pretty mighty to play with.
