Meet Stan Hansen, Lizzy’s loving father. Stan is a nice guy but Danielle has never had much opportunity to get to know him. Like most farmers, Stan is busy working to maintain the farm and tending to the livestock.

Indeed. Most people don't realise how busy farmers are kept these days and what a large variety of tasks they have to tackle. Also, the weather is always wrong, no matter what weather it happens to be... (You can probably tell that I hang out with farmers a lot.)

When you live in rural Indiana, odds are you know a farmer or are related to one. They are hard work people and we all owe them a lot.

My late uncle was a farmer and also raised dairy cows. Seems like he was always busy. Somehow he managed to teach math at a local high school and coached basketball, too.
