Happy Friday, everybody.

The holidays are behind us, and the first page of 2023 is here.

Danielle has followed Amy downstairs and finds her distraught friend sitting alone in the kitchen. Lizzy’s mother is in near panic, fearing for the safety of her daughter. Danielle wants to comfort her friend, but her vampiric nature is triggered by the fear and vulnerable state Amy is in. Danielle has been stressing over the possible threat to Lizzy, and now has an added struggle with herself. The last thing Danielle wants to do is feed on Amy, but will she be able to fight off the urge?

Those urges are usually strong within vampires it seems, so hopefully she won't feed off of Amy, but, well, unfortunately, Dani doesn't necessarily have that great of a track record when it comes to trying to control those urges, so . . . I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Danielle has already had to talk herself down outside Lizzy's bedroom. She fed on a bag of bioengineered blood, but that is just a less-than-satisfying substitute for the real thing.This may not be good.
